Fort Lauderdale - Feb 10, 2014

With our flight at 6:20PM, we had time to do another excursion in Fort Lauderdale.  Fort Lauderdale is very close to the famous Everglades, therefore we decided to join the Everglades Eco Tour to enjoy the Air Boat ride in Everglades.  Our tour guide is a local person and very knowledge about the history of how the US government trying to change the ecosystem of Everglades and the problems caused each time when they did it.  He pointed out many instances that they did 10 billions dollars project to change something, and then they would find out that they were destroying the ecosystem, then they had to spend 100 billions dollars to correct it.  The Air Boat ride was the 1st time experience to all of us and we were spotting a lot of American crocodiles.  It was a 30 minutes ride in the everglades Holiday Park. After the ride, there was a mini crocodiles show.
After the Everglades, we also toured the Flamingo Garden.  Beside the flamingos, there are a lot of other animals in the garden.  However, the more interesting thing to see in this garden was the variety of vegetation.

The tour ended with taking us to the Fort Lauderdale airport as a part of Princess Airport Transit.
